Rev. Wells was Licensed to preach in 1984 and Ordained in 1985.  He received a second ordination in 2000 with Apex First Baptist Church. Dr. Wells is the Former Pastor of the Miracle Temple of Deliverance in Burgaw, NC. He is formerly an Associate Minister and Director of Christian Education at Apex First Baptist Church. Apex, NC. Dr. Wells is the Associate Pastor and Interim Pastor of Greater Christian Chapel Church.

Dr. Wells is the former Registrar and Administrative Assistant of Apex School of Theology. He is currently Director of Institutional Effectiveness and the Full-time Faculty Member and Professor of Biblical Studies at the Apex School of Theology Durham, NC.  His desire is the fulfillment of Habakkuk 2:14.
